About
Lyndsey Gillespie is a dedicated advocate and essential member of the Connell Michael, LLP legal team, where she works closely with attorneys in both the Special Education and Personal Injury Divisions. With a strong background in advocacy and a passion for helping families navigate complex educational and legal systems, Lyndsey brings empathy, precision, and persistence to every case she supports.
In the firm’s Education Law Division, Lyndsey assists in preparing and supporting matters involving special education disputes, due process complaints, Section 504 violations, school discipline cases, and systemic noncompliance by school districts. Her work includes reviewing records, identifying legal issues, organizing documentation, and helping to prepare families and attorneys for hearings and mediations. She is a strong voice for families whose children have been denied appropriate services or harmed in school settings, and she is deeply committed to advancing equity and accountability in education.
Lyndsey also plays a key support role in the firm’s Personal Injury Division, assisting with cases involving catastrophic injury, school-based abuse and neglect, and institutional failures. Her attention to detail, ability to synthesize complex information, and deep compassion for clients make her a trusted point of contact for many families throughout the litigation process.
Lyndsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Psychology from Ball State University, giving her a strong foundation in research, analysis, and human behavior. She is also an active member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA), an organization dedicated to protecting the legal and civil rights of students with disabilities.
Known for her responsiveness, professionalism, and tireless commitment to the families we serve, Lyndsey is more than a legal assistant—she is a powerful advocate in her own right. At Connell Michael, LLP, she is an indispensable part of our mission to protect children, empower parents, and fight for justice in and out of the courtroom.
